New Forest Meddlars were formed in 1990.  We are a mixed morris side dancing in the Border and Cotswold traditions, but we also vary performances with some new dances. 

 

From October to April we  practise at Emery Down & Bank Village Hall on Tuesday evenings - 7.30 for musicians and 8pm for dancers - until 9.30pm.  The first two practices are usually taster sessions for people wanting to see if Morris is for them  and all start at 7.30 on those nights.

From May to early September we can regularly be seen dancing out at local pubs or on Lymington Quay on Tuesday evenings.  We also dance at fetes and festivals and at private bookings at weekends. Members are expected to be able to commit to a good number of these dance-outs and events.

 

Although Winter is mostly practice time we usually have a few festive dance-outs or private bookings to keep us on our toes.
